Star trails over Misty Lake [1]
This is my first effort at capturing "star trails". The exposure was long enough to catch some of the effect of the Earth's rotation. The nearly-full moon was very bright, though, and some clouds rolled in right around the 20-minute mark, so I closed the shutter, and the image required quite a bit of post-processing to bring out the star trails themselves.
