Flowers

I think these are some kind of Clematis, perhaps Purple or Pink Clematis.

Update: I've been told that these are a type of "Cosmos".

  • Jean-Alain Le B: This is great! Is it easy focusing manually with the 5D and the 1.7?
  • Abel Septsault: These flowers are "Cosmos x...", which are very common annuals in northwestern Europe, not Clematis... !!! Apart of this heavy mistake, this is a very clean photo, although the chosen distance, light and angle are not very artistic and original...
  • Donna Devine: A stunning image. it seems to leap off the page! I'm about to buy a 5D, and am now looking at various lenses. Does the CZ Planar T*50mm f1.7 (and other CZ lenses) fit easily onto the 5D body?
  • rob: Hi all, and thanks for your comments! The CZ Planar 50/1.7 fits easily on the 5D with the use of an adapter (I use CameraQuest), however be sure to get the MM version of the lens. The MM has a green F16 marking on the barrel. There is a slight problem using the AE version on the 5D.
