New Media Christmas Party [0]

December 15th, 2003

The department heads to The Midtown for dinner, drinks and pool to celebrate the holidays. We did our usual gift exchange, but also had a "white elephant" gift steal, with many interesting presents being unwrapped, including a watering can purse, a vintage cassette walkman, and an unidentified bong-like vase!

This was my first chance at using my new 50mm f/1.8 and I'm very happy with its low light performance. It felt a bit too long for indoor use though, and a 35mm or 28mm would probably be useful.
