Looks like Google has been hard at work adding new high-resolution imagery to their Maps and Earth applications. Along with new high-res images in Algonquin Park and The French River (Google Earth only so far), this view of Chicago near Water Tower Place seems to have visible people crossing the street at the crosswalk, and this view of the Eiffel Tower easily shows people standing about and on the tower... just imagine what the U.S. government can see.
